As i've said before in my previous posts, this site just gets weirder and weirder by the moment.
As i've previously mentioned the 'check out' function, for those of you who don't remember or who are new the 'check out' function basically allows you to be able to see who as been looking at your profile, which is both fun and a disaster all at the same time. Naturally if you see someone new checking you out you automatically have a peep at that persons profile so see who's having a look, all good fun i hear you say, well it is for the majority i've found however lately i've gotten evey Class A weirdo emailing me stating:
'Hey Aoife, I saw you checking out my profile, i think your really beautiful, have you ever considered modelling? what part of dublin are you from, are you single, talk soon pretty'
obviously this is a lovely email to receive as its so complimentary, however on second glance the guy who sent it is in his 40s and divorced makes ye wonder doesn't it? and you'd love to reply:
'thanks for the lovely things you said, however i was only checking you out cause you checked me out first and i wanted to see who exactly you were, sorry but happy hunting :)'
On the upside though I have been receiving winks and blinks or whatever there called off people in and around my own age.
Sending winks to the person you fancy on beautifulpeople.com cause your a sexual predator and you want some.

Revelations!!!!
I have had a bit of a revelation, I have found that some of the men on the website are googling a picture or using a picture of a friend in order to get voted on to the site then switch the photos to a photo of themselves once voted in, once your in you can't get voted out you see unless you do something really bad like post explicit photos or harrass people you know your usual rules!!
But still this website gets weirder and weirder people are thinking way to much into this, its pure luck if you get in as i said it all depends on what people are looking at you to some people im beautiful to others im horrible it depends on the individual whos looking at you and what there type is!!
right now im still having mixed opinions about the site so far to sum it up i've come across a polish man looking to score, a 42 year old being kind, a 23 yr old 'pharmacist' however its questionable if this is infact his actual job the way he goes on, and a really nice down to earth surfer guy whos on the site for the laugh like myself! so truly a diverse group so far.
However,I have noticed that there a few 'lonely hearts' on the site that are genuinely looking to find an other half, the most shocking part is though they are all in there 20s, now i am in my 20s myself and i suppose everyones different and people are shy and what not but im wondering is this the new way forward, sure most of our life is dominated by social networking, sites like twitter keep us up to the second with all our friends, the ones we know in the real world and the one;s be know virtually, so who's to say the days of meeting someone on a night out or in college or work are dying out?? maybe the future is finding our partner online??? hmm would make you wonder :)

Let the Games Begin
Right, my profile has been live for about a day now and proven to be very intresting. So what i've found out is that in order to email other members you have to be a full member by paying the membership fee so I've found many leave there email addresses in there bio for people to get in contact (I am part of this majority as i do not possess the 12.99 a month to be a full member and i also ask myself the question why would i bother?) anyway 'Elite' members can email who ever they want and you want the good news? non members can email back and this is were the story gets interesting. Around 11 pm last night i recived a 'hug'wink followed by an email from a Polish man currently residing in cork, the conversation was interesting to say the least, he was a nice man, but obvious that his intent was to score, now normally ages doesn't bother me at all im 20 in a few months, but when i noticed the 15 year age gap i did wonder why bother getting in contact? but as they say ages is just number!!
My picture rating has gone up to a nice 4.33 outta 5 thanks to a lovely 43 year old army officer who does not just like my photos but in the words of the beautiful people 'so and so LOVES Aoife's picutre' bit intense no?
I have this theory when it comes to this sort of thing i call it 'mutual admiration' basically there needs to be no feelings or flirtation attached its just simply one person telling another i like how u look, in the case of the 43 i think this is the story , defo not a case of trying to get stuck into to someone hu is 20 years younger!! well i hope anyway!!
However despite this my surfer emailed back and guess what?? hes completly normal and having a laugh with the site just like me, what i've gathered when asking why the person joined most people reply with 'ehh well i wanted to see if i could get in' and i think this why the majority of the younger members are on the site.
so far however I'm yet to get chatting to a member who thinks there to sexy for life so currently im still dateless and having a laugh which suits me down to the ground. wonder what todays 'beautiful people' antics will bring :)

I'm not sure if many of you are aware of the website beautifulpeople.com, for all those who don't know it I will give you a brief run down of what the site is. Basically it is a social network/dating site which is exclusivly for good looking or so called 'beautiful people', applicants submit there profiles for a 48 hour period,within in this time exsiting beautiful members vote on whether or not they think the hopeful applicants are beautiful enough to join. There are 4 options members can choose from when voting in potential members, a potential member is either beautiful,hmm ok, no or no not at all!
As you can imagine voting can be brutal and can cause a severe knock to ones self confidence if taken to heart however this is a known risk which everyone is made aware of from the start with that said however the sight is based on the laws of attraction and what the public precieve to be beautiful, either way it all depends on who's voting for you and what they precieve to be beautiful, in my opinion I don't think it should be taken to heart either way.
the site is primarily free to use however you do need to pay a membership fee if you want to use all the functions such as sending messages,using online chat,use the forum and be invited to the various events amongst a few other functions.
with all that said, I have recently been voted in to this 'elite social network' of so called 'beautiful people' and have decided to report my expriences with the sight and find out the inner workings, if the people are as shallow as the site is or they are beautiful both inside and out. Either way this is set to be a intresting exprience I have already recived 3 'blink winks', my photos have been rated a 3.67 (not to bad i think) out of 5, have a 43 year old army officer following me and have made contact with a 26 year old surfer and i've only been a member for about 5 hours now.
so lets see were this takes us!!
